ECCO Shoes is a retail store globally recognized for their quality and durability. They opened their doors in Commercial Bay, Auckland CBD in November, 2024 after we completed the fit out. The Commercial Bay store is now a modern and inviting space, crafted to withstand the test of time.
This dynamic space has been crafted for a seamless retail experience. Sleek lines and natural textures have been matched thoughtfully to create an inviting space.
We worked closely with ECCO to achieve all of their goals, and stayed true to our Woodland Promise. Our team worked efficiently and effectively to not only ensure all deadlines were met, but to ensure that the quality of our work was something we are proud to say we played a role in.
The way timber and leather have been used in this space emphasises the durability of nature in our modern world. Our craftsmanship emulates the vision of the ECCO founder Karl Toosbuy to have products that withstand the test of time and above all else is functional. The timeless design paired with Woodland's unmatched quality ECCO new Commercial Bay store has been built to last.

We worked alongside ECCO to achieve our common goal of a space both fit for the hustle and bustle of retail and a welcoming space that will remain timeless. The new ECCO store has been built to last and the collaboration between the Woodland Shopfitting team and outside contractors has provided the ECCO team with a fresh and fit-for-use space. Woodland worked alongside Paint CO. and Arena Commercial to piece together the Commercial Bay store.
We worked very closely with ECCO making all efforts to support their vision. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that ECCO received Woodland promised quality regardless of furnishings being client supplied. Extra thought was taken when assembling and installing the joinery in this space to ensure that ECCO was still receiving the Woodland quality.
Our team takes great pride in our ability to consistently produce quality work efficiently. It is important to us that our operations do not waste time and resources. Woodland's commitment to efficiency meant all key dates with ECCO were met. Regardless of our high turnover rate, our team produces quality, usable spaces time and time again, ECCO being no exception.
