Bared Footwear is an Australian owned retail store who in July 2024 opened their doors to the first Bared Footwear New Zealand location in New Market, Auckland. Our team carried out the fit out, leaving the Bared Footwear New Market team a classy and sharp space that has been built to last.
A light airy space transforms any retail experience and the way lighting has been used to give the Broadway store a new lease of life. Sky lights, recessed downlighting, wall lamps, pendants and LED lighting all compliment the generous sized windows allowing the space to flood with light, allowing Bared Footwear’s products to shine.
The Woodland Shopfitting team is beyond proud to have been in close collaboration with a company that has values that align with the Woodland promise. Our shared passion for what we do is what made the collaboration between Bared and Woodland so seamless. Bared believes that their product is “so much more than great fitting shoes” and we adapted this mindset to provide them with a space that is so much more than great fitted joinery. Our team takes great care and pride in all production stages of our projects, with Bared Footwear being no exception.
The Woodland Shopfitting team worked closely with Bared Footwear to create a unique space that can withstand the foot traffic coming in and out of their prime Broadway, New Market location. A beautiful retail store was brought to life through collaboration and innovation, in which our team’s willingness to fulfill our clients’ expectations produced New Zealand’s first Bared Footwear location.
Taking over 2,500 hours to complete this project from start to finish our team’s dedication and attention to detail shines through. The Woodland elite standard of quality is obvious when evaluating the intentional, personal and classy choices made by both our team and the Bared team. No detail is too big or small for our team, we understand the desired bigger picture comes down to the details being perfect to achieve something next level. And that is exactly what Woodland Shopfitting did for Bared Footwear, every detail no matter how fine, was taken into careful consideration and given the time it deserves.
The space’s connection to natural elements elevates the luxurious feeling and experience when shopping at Bared. The stone bench tops were preselected by the Bared team and were imported from Europe completing the lavish energy of the New Market store.
The space is captivating with no detail overlooked by our team. Floor to ceiling, every part of this fit out was carefully considered for our client to have the best possible outcome. Woodland Shopfitting’s journey began with a demolition of the old fit out to give our team a blank canvas to bring Bared Footwear’s vision to life. The curved shelving and acro-sand Dulux paint makes for a feeling of luxury that cannot be beat.
