Welcome to the new and improved Gloria Jean’s Coffee, following a needed revitalisation of a well loved space! Think refreshed, cozy, warm and inviting, this modern aesthetic café is one of the nine locations in New Zealand and can be found at 8 Tangihua Street, Auckland CBD. Gloria Jean’s is clearly a significant global coffee chain having operational stores in 40+ countries and our team is honored to have brought this global enterprise back to life.
Presenting a unique set of challenges for the Woodland Shopfitting Team, we took them in our stride and didn’t let any obstacles stand in the way of achieving greatness. Relocating a portion of the existing café was a big part of this project as it was important to Gloria Jean’s to continue operational even with works being completed. This required meticulous planning and precise execution, ensuring minimal disruption to their loyal customers. Our team coordinated seamlessly, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills to keep the coffee flowing while crafting the new space. Their dedication truly allowed Gloria Jean's to transform without missing a beat.
This project was a great opportunity for our joiners to showcase their talent and for our apprentices to learn new techniques and widen their skill set. Long lead times can cause delays if a team is not prepared for them, the fast turnaround time for this project meant our team required an innovative approach to how it would be completed. Taking things into our hands, our team designed a custom inhouse product that we like to think came out better than what had been originally planned. The Woodland values shining through here, showcasing innovation and collaboration; our team couldn’t be prouder of the result.
Collaboration is in our DNA and working with a team so passionate about what they do is why we love doing what we do. Working with Lineastone and Total Fabrication and Welding illustrates the synergy perfectly. Every intricate detail, from the initial conceptualisation to the final flawless execution, was handled with precision and an acute attention to quality and we are grateful for their collaboration on this project with us.
