Lorna Jane has arrived in Christchurch, with a retail fit-out on Cashel Street that brings the brand’s global identity into a refined New Zealand retail environment. Delivered as a full commercial shopfitting project, this space was designed to translate Lorna Jane’s vision into a seamless, modern, and highly engaging customer experience.
As an established Australian activewear brand, Lorna Jane’s retail environments are driven by clarity, energy, and brand consistency. Our role as shopfitting contractors was to execute that vision through a considered retail interior—ensuring the space feels open, warm, and inviting, while drawing customers in from the street-facing glazed frontage.
The interior design approach balances soft curves and neutral tones, allowing the product to remain the focal point. Solid oak timber detailing references the brand’s Australian heritage while introducing warmth and tactility into the space. These elements are paired with durable 2K painted finishes across walls and fixtures, delivering a high-quality result suited to a high-traffic retail environment.
For designers and retailers, the success of this Christchurch retail fit-out lies in its ability to merge brand storytelling with practical functionality. Generous changing rooms, enhanced with soft backlighting, provide a comfortable and considered customer experience—encouraging interaction with the product while maintaining a sense of space and ease.
Delivered over a five-week programme, this project demonstrates our capability in fast-track retail fit-outs and commercial shopfitting across New Zealand. Strong coordination between our in-house team and specialist contractors ensured a smooth delivery, meeting programme deadlines without compromising on detail or finish quality.
